REVIEW OF OUR STAY:
My wife and I wanted to get away somewhere easy and not too far over Memorial Day weekend. We chose The Venetian Las Vegas as it is located on the perfect part of the Strip, right next door to its sister hotel Palazzo and not a far walk to Wynn, Encore, and the Mirage.
We arrived at the hotel and limo drop-off was easy. The hotel has valet available and complimentary self parking if needed.
Walking into the massive lobby, we knew immediately that we were at a 5 Star Resort. All employees were extremely welcoming and everything was incredibly clean and sparkling.
Front desk check-in was quick and we were told about our Grand King View Suite. We were given clear directions on how to find our suite and also useful information about the property and area.
When we got to the suite, we were extremely impressed. When you walk in, there is an entrance hall with a guest powder room which leads to the living room and dining area with a bar. The bedroom is separated by a door and has its own full beautiful bathroom with marble countertops and perfectly equipped.
There is definitely no shortage of things to do at this resort. There is a massive casino downstairs, a huge mall with not only high end stores but also regular stores that you would see at local malls.
The pool area is huge with multiple pools. One of the pools has more of a party vibe, which was fun when we felt like we wanted something a bit more upbeat and exciting. The Cabana Rentals had a variety of options including some that have their own plunge pool. The food and drinks at the pool were great.
The food and dining scene at this hotel is impressive. For dinner, we dined at BRERA the first night and CUT the second night. Both were excellent choices. The Venetian was a great choice when staying in Vegas.
